Lights, Singing and Nutcrackers!

Thought I would post some fun holiday memories!
We went to our favorite tacky light house, Chloe had her first Starbucks experience, hot chocolate, which of course she loved. We all loved the lights!
Chloe had 2 Christmas concerts. One for school, and one for choir at church. I couldn't get over how cute the little choir robes are for her church concert. She did great at both, I'll admit I got a little teary eyed at both, something about her singing songs telling the story of Jesus' birth!
This past Saturday we went to see the Nutcracker. Chloe was mesmerized by the dancers. She sat there the whole time and just watched, of course we had some snacks but I loved watching her watch it. Now she really can't wait to try ballet!

Only a few more days until Christmas!

We had a fun thanksgiving, celebrating with family and eating lots of yummy food! The day after we took out all our decorations and went to get out Christmas tree. It's one of my favorite days.

We made a gingerbread house one afternoon.

Chloe's Birthday

We celebrated Chloe's birthday with a party at All Fired Up. She loved painting and eating cupcakes.

On her actual birthday she got a donut for breakfast! She opened her presents from us, and I brought cookies into her class and read a book. She got to do all her favorite things that day, including choir at church. She specifically requested to go, which I loved.

I think she had a great birthday!!

Happy Birthday Chloe Mae

IHappy 4th Birthday sweet girl!! Where has the time gone? You are all big girl now! You definitely keep us on our toes, but I can't imagine our life without you.
This year I have loved watching you become a big sister. You are so loving and nurturing to your baby brother. You love feeding him, bringing him a toy, and trying to teach him new things. You just helped him learn how to crawl. I can't wait to see all the new things you will teach him.
You love school, gymnastics, singing loudly, playing with your friends and little brother and being my big helper. You also love minnie mouse, the disney princesses, everything pink and the princess palace pets.

You are so loved by us, and I can't imagine my life without you. Happy Birthday Chloe Mae!

Halloween Weekend 2016

Friday was farm fun day at Chloe's school. We had fun seeing the animals and getting to sit in the tractor.
Captain America and Cinderella had a fun Halloween weekend. Clarke wanted Luke to be Captain America, and Chloe had her heart set on being Cinderella, but of course it had to be the pink dress, the one that the birds and mice made for her.
Our neighborhood had a little fall festival with face painting, cupcakes and a bouncy house. Then last night we went trick or treating. Chloe was so excited this year, first time she couldn't wait to go.

The weather wasn't too cold this year which was nice. Today Chloe keeps asking me what each piece of candy is. Chocolate? Now we are getting ready for her party and birthday. How is she going to be 4?

October Updates

Fall is officially here! Here's what we've been up to:
Luke has been eating more and more "finger foods." He's loving it!
Chloe has been back into the routine of school, it's been good for everyone.
Luke is more interested in standing and pulling up than learning to crawl.
Chloe is still doing gymnastics. I love seeing her skills progress, after much practice she finally can do her forward roll all by herself!
He's sleeping like a champ at night! Most nights 12 hours straight.
Me and Chloe went up to Harrisonburg to celebrate Zoe's first birthday.
Luke was dedicated at church. One thing I especially loved about it was we picked out a life verse for him. We chose Joshua 1:9 "Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the  Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
We went to the pumpkin patch last Sunday. This was by far my favorite one we've been to. It felt like you were on a real farm, and the sugar shack donuts didn't disappoint!
Well that was a long post! Happy Fall!
